What are the penalties for natural persons carrying out maintenance or cleaning activities who fail to comply with the registration obligation?

A cleaner who attends a workplace and does not register the start and end of their activities at the workplace, as well as their rest breaks, at the time they begin and end, is subject to a level 1 sanction. For offences committed from 1 February 2026, the administrative fine is €100 to €1,000. For offences committed before 1 February 2026, the administrative fine was €80 to €800.

These amounts apply to offences committed from 1 February 2026.
