The contractor chooses the means of registration. If the contractor chooses registration by smartphone, clear arrangements must be made with the worker. These arrangements may be included in the work regulations or employment contract. The employer may provide the smartphone, but workers may also use their own smartphone. If a worker uses their own smartphone, they are entitled to an allowance of EUR 7 (see the collective labour agreement). If the worker does not agree to the arrangements and refuses to use their own smartphone, they are not entitled to this allowance.
